Following our cultural guest performances held each summer, I am now delighted to announce that from now on we will hold an Art & Culinary Festival series each autumn.
From 14. 9. until 11. 11. 2013, our masters of the culinary arts will meet up in Bad Kleinkirchheim in the Austrian Alps. Participants can take up their vantage point by the saucepans and learn the secrets of executive chefs. Art collector Dir. Wilhelm Weiss presents works from his collection to match each culinary theme.

From Restaurant “Scabar” at Erta di Sant‘Anna, you can look down on the brilliant blue lake and up to the rocky outcrops of the Karst. The former trattoria is now the best address in town managed by siblings Ami and Giorgio, the sommelier.

GERD KÄFER: * 1932 Munich-Schwabing, in 1930 his parents opened a grocer’s shop, in 1959 he founded his pan-European party service, 1963 theatre gastronomy, 1971 tent at Munich’s Oktoberfest, book author, Bavarian Order of Merit, Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, since 2008 event tower in Kitzbühel.
