| Hole 1: 443m / 379m. Par 5 - HCP 5 |
| Actually a damned starting hole, above all you the smart alecks in the clubhouse. Driving range on the left, and a brook on level with the drive. You will have to cross the brook on order to tackle the green plateau with a 3-iron. Once the ball is in the hole, it is worth looking back. A magnificent view. |
| Hole 2: 407m / 359m. Par 4 - HCP 7 |
| At the downhill tee-off I prefer to keep to the right, as this is where lane 8 is located. The green is no problem. Don’t forget to crouch down while reading it. |
| Hole 3: 329m / 282m. Par 4 - HCP 13 |
| Use a good 5-iron twice - and you will easily take the fright out of this troublesome hole. The green should be played short, as the brook’s fast flowing on the right and behind tends to swallow long balls. |
| Hole 4: 373m / 283m. Par 4 - HCP 11 |
| A hook would be ideal at the drive. The second shot is a tough one: It should be played with power across a little brook up to an undulating green. Steer clear of the bunker. |
| Hole 5: 156m / 142m. Par 3 - HCP 17 |
| I really love this hole. On the left there is the final schuss of the K 70 downhill run, which bears my name. What more can I say? |
| Hole 6: 376m / 330m. Par 4 - HCP 3 |
| This is the most difficult hole, not only for me. You have to cross three stretches of waters to reach the green peninsula. Here I often try for a bogey right from the start. |
| Hole 7: 135m / 126m. Par 3 - HCP 15 |
| Just as “good” for both men and women. Don’t forget to check the wind before choosing your iron. |
| Hole 8: 470m / 418m. Par 5 - HCP 9 |
| With a little help from the wind, you might even hit an eagle. If the flag stays in the hole while putting, you will get a penalty shot. |
| Hole 9: 422m / 370m. Par 4 - HCP 1 |
| A tasty morsel for golfers that can sometimes lodge in the throat. If the second shot across the pond seems too long for you, you should take the parallel first lane instead. Not really elegant, but effective. |
| Hole 10: 296m / 245m. Par 4 - HCP 14 |
| Incredibly tight. You won’t be laughed at for choose a 5-iron to tee-off. |
| Hole 11: 119m / 109m. Par 3 - HCP 18 |
| A wedge straight as an arrow. Close your eyes. There is no time to be afraid. Red stakes are lessening the fiasco. |
| Hole 12: 465m / 434m. Par 5 - HCP 6 |
| A golfers’ dream hole. Of course, I try to avoid the fence on the right at the drive. |
| Hole 13: 382m / 333m. Par 4 - HCP 12 |
| Here, a 100-m tee-off is the minimum. Because between tee and fairway there is nothing but a biotope. And if I catch anybody looking for balls there … |
| Hole 14: 507m / 457m. Par 5 - HCP 4 |
| Direct attack on the green won’t work here. When in doubt, I tend to accept an additional shot here. The trout in the pond will express their thanks by jumping in the air. |
| Hole 15: 384m / 295m. Par 4- HCP 10 |
| For the ladies I often recommend a 5-wood at the tee-off to aim across the biotope. This should be enough to cross safely. The rest bears no hidden dangers at all. A smooth play. |
| Hole 16: 361m / 311m. Par 4 - HCP 8 |
| Dogleg on the right. If you go for the straight line, you will be miles out. After the putt I look forward to the luxury of being driven to hole 17. Small talk and catch your breath. |
| Hole 17: 120m / 108m. Par 3 - HCP 16 |
| This is where I attack with an 9-iron 9. Relentlessly. |
| Hole 18: 261m / 231m. Par 4 - HCP 2 |
| The mousetrap. Here I tend to play safety first with a 6-iron number. The final shot up to the high, invisible green is always an adventure. Take at least one iron higher than you think! After the last putt I always congratulate my partners - on a fair game, lady tee, or whatever. |
